Recently I went on a holiday to see and explore the Australian Standing Stones.
These stones are located in Glen Innes New South Wales, Australia. They are hidden away from the town centre in the Centennial Parklands.
These stones are a must see if you happen to be in the area or driving through on a road trip. There are different view points to see the stones here and there is some other fun activities to do in the local area. These stones date back to the celtic region. The stones have been here since 1992, however, they were not known about until the recent exposure of the media and the Australian Celtic festival.
This attraction was officially opened on 1st of February 1992.
The stones are 5.5 metres in length.
The stones were roughly 17000 kilograms each, which equal 17 tonnes, this was the average weight of each of the stones.
